Peter M. Kulas, Esq.
Peter Kulas, a family law attorney in western Michigan, concentrates his practice on domestic relations litigation including divorce, child custody, non-marital domestic relationships, and abuse and neglect actions for Kent County.
Mr. Kulas was born in Hahn, Germany and lived there for eight years until his father retired from the Air Force and Tucson, Arizona became home.
After receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University, he moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School on an academic scholarship.
After surviving three insanely cold winters and falling in love, Grand Rapids became his new home.
Mr. Kulas has worked with the ACLU of Arizona; the Kent County Public Defender’s Office; Miller, Canfield, Paddock, & Stone; and for the past four years has operated his own firm. Mr. Kulas is actively involved with the local Grand Rapids Bar Association. Currently, he serves on the board for the Parent's and Children's Law Section and is a Member of the Family law Section. In addition he serves on the Family Law Council for the State Bar of Michigan. His past membership includes Chair of the the Grand Rapids Bar Association's Young Lawyers Section and American Inns of Court. This diverse experience allows him to bring unique perspective and rigor to each and every case he handles.
